1/ SHIPPING INFORMATION

Giambattista Valli can deliver products in up to 227 countries around the world, offering free delivery on all orders. Orders are usually shipped within 1 – 2 working days and transport time could takes up to 5-7 days (3 days in average)

Giambattista Valli SAS works closely with its shipping partner to minimize the potential impact of any shipping delays, but before orders can be dispatched, the payment details with the client card issuer may need confirmation.

Giambattista Valli SAS and its shipping partners will do their best to keep delays to a minimum. Delivery time starts when an order is accepted and includes a approximative 24 hours period where items will be processed and dispatched by Giambattista Valli’s warehouse. Please note this may take longer during sale periods or other high peak seasons.

At the moment we are unable to ship to PO Boxes or freight forwarder addresses.

2/ ORDER TRACKING

Once an order has been processed and shipped, the client will receive an email confirmation with the shipping details and the respective tracking number of its order. If the client has set-up a personal account on giambattistavalli.com, the client will be able to view and track the status of its shipment in My Account. If not yet registered, the client can still track its orders here but we suggest to sign in for easier tracking of future orders.

3/ TAXES & DUTIES

Giambattista Valli SAS ships to most destinations with a Delivery Duty Paid basis. The prices indicated on the catalog pages are gross prices, that is, already inclusive of VAT. No additional taxes or customs duties are collected.

The list of countries where Giambattista Valli ships its Products with Delivery Duty Paid Basis are Australia, Bahrain, Hong Kong, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Korea (South), Kuwait, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom (from 2021).

4/ ALTERNATIVE SHIPPING ADDRESS

When placing an order, clients are allowed to select a different shipping address from the billing address.

5/ CHANGING OR CANCELLING AN ORDER

For technical reasons, Giambattista Valli SAS and its shipping partner are not able to modify the client’s order once it has been confirmed or shipped. All products ordered through the Giambattista Valli Eshop can be returned within 30 days. In case further support is needed, our Customer Service will be happy to provide assistance.

6/ PACKAGING

Orders will be packed in Giambattista Valli’s garment bags, boxes or dust-bags. Yet, to protect your shipment from robbery, Clients order will be shipped in a neutral box.

7/ INSURANCE

Giambattista Valli insures all products against theft and accidental damage whilst in transit until it is delivered to the shipping address. Once the items have been delivered to the specified delivery address and signed for, they are no longer covered by insurance.
If the package is damaged upon arrival, we recommend that the client either refuses the delivery, or makes a note when signing for its receipt that the client is accepting a damaged box. For further support, please contact Giambattista Valli’s Customer Service.

8/ PROMOTIONS

Promotion Codes can be used during the checkout process, simply enter the code into the coupon field found in the Shopping Bag.

9/ RETURN GUIDELINES

All products ordered through the Giambattista Valli Eshop can be returned with no additional cost for the customer.
Customers are entitled to return their products within 14 days after receiving their orders, in the European Union, or within 30 days from the date the order was placed for the rest of the world.

In order to be accepted by Giambattista Valli quality control, products should be returned new, unused, and with all labels and garment tags still attached. In case a returned product reaches us in a damaged, stained, washed or altered state, it will not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer.

Where provided, any designer packaging such as authenticity cards, dust bags and leather tags should be included with the return. Items should be returned in their original packaging to ensure they are adequately protected in transit.

All shoes must be tried on a carpeted surface until the client is certain of keeping them. Shoes should be returned unmarked and in their original, undamaged shoe box as this is considered part of the product. Shoes that are returned without a box, in a damaged box or with marked soles will not be accepted.

Briefs, swimming costumes and bikini bottoms should be tried on over underwear, without removing the protective adhesive strip. Stockings, socks and tights may be only be returned if the package has not been opened.

Being made-to-order, we cannot accept returns of personalized items.

Returns that do not comply with these regulations will not be accepted.

10/ RETURN PROCESS

To return one or more products ordered through Giambattista Valli Eshop, the customer should please follow the procedure detailed bellow:

  • Visit the returns portal to initiate a returns authorization, using order number and email address.
  • Select the products to return and the reason for returning.
  • Select the prepaid delivery label and print both the return label and return form.
  • Make sure all products to return and the return form, product tags, authenticity labels or cards are included in the package, the original box or an equally robust box.
  • Attach the return label to the outside of the parcel.
  • Contact the DHL or take the package to the nearest DHL point (We recommend to keep an eye on the tracking available on the return label, to monitor the package shipment).

Any issues caused by the use of a courier or a return label other than ours are not attributable to Giambattista Valli.

A return may take up to 7 business days to be handled by our warehouse. After that the customer will receive a confirmation email. The refund will be processed to the credit/debit card or account originally used for payment. Refunds may take up to 10 working days to appear on the bank statement, depending on your bank.

In case of a gift to return for a refund, the person who originally purchased the gift will receive the refund. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Currently, it is not possible to return the products bought online to a Giambattista Valli Store.

11/ EXCHANGE SERVICE

Currently, Giambattista Valli SAS does not provide nor offer any exchange service. Customers should first return their products to Giambattista Valli, using the procedure above and place a new order on the Site for the correct product. As well, products purchased in a Giambattista Valli store cannot be returned using the Giambattista Valli Eshop return procedure.

12/ CLAIM

Products can be qualified as faulty if they have been received damaged, or where a manufacturing fault occurs within 24 months of purchase. In this case we kindly ask the customer to send the article back to us. For a simple return, please use the pre-printed return form and return label included in the parcel. If the return label cannot be found, please contact our Customer Service. We cannot accept items that have been worn and used beyond being tried on.
